Beasts of No Nation: film viewing and discussion with the producer, a Penn State Grad

The Penn State School of International Affairs and the Center for Global studies will host a showing and discussion of the film “Beasts of No Nation” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec.1 at the State Theatre, 130 W College Ave, State College. The event is free and open to the public.
The award-winning film inspired from the novel by Uzodinma Iweala is a drama based on the experiences of Agu, a child soldier fighting in the civil war of an unnamed African country.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the producer, Riva Marker, a graduate of Penn State's College of Communications.
