Adriana Rivera is a Military Legislative Aide for the United States Senate where she works on Foreign Policy, Defense, and Veterans Affairs policy issues. Ms. Rivera began her career on Capitol Hill as an intern for the Senate Majority Leader and worked her way up from a Staff Assistant into her current position. Previously, she has volunteered and worked on political campaigns in California, New York, and Maine, wrote legislation for the New York State Senate, and completed a Foreign Policy Fellowship with Foreign Policy for America.
Ms. Rivera graduated from the Pennsylvania State University Graduate School of International Affairs where she completed a concentration in Public Policy and Government Affairs and received a Graduate Certificate in Public Budgeting and Financial Management. During her time at Penn State, Ms. Rivera worked with faculty on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Board which was organized to increase diversity and representation at the PSU Graduate School of International Affairs. She also attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where she completed a double major in the History of Public Policy and Philosophy.
