Régine Lambrech

Dr. Régine Lambrech has spent nearly four decades in international education. She lived and worked for 23 years in France, 19 of those spearheading international student and faculty research and/or educational exchanges at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, an engineering grande école. She was instrumental in the pioneering establishment and then expansion of double degrees throughout Europe and beyond.
She was a founding board member of the European Association for International Education and served as the founding chair of its International Relations Managers Professional Section. She has extensive international experience, served as director of global initiatives at the Columbia University School of Engineering and now works as principal consultant for her own company, International Education Consulting, where she provides advice to institutions of higher education.
Dr. Lambrech holds a B.A. from Ladycliff College in French and secondary education and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Penn State in French. In 1996 she was named a Distinguished Alumna of Penn State and currently serves as president of the Penn State Society of Distinguished Alumni.
